Founded for Somalilander-Americans and led by Somalilander-Americans, ASC is a member based, nonpartisan national civic advocacy organization.

ASC brings community priorities into policy conversations, supports U.S.–Somaliland relations, and develops the next generation of civic leaders.
Our board of directors governs the organization, with guidance from a council of chapter representatives. Registered members shape the work, and friends and volunteers help carry it forward.
